An Idea for a Unique Thank-You Gift

The producer of the TV series “Ekspedycja XD” came across the Pinswear website with a specific idea in mind. She wanted to prepare a small gift that she could present to the film crew on the last day of shooting as a thank-you for their cooperation, dedication, and the project they had completed together.

The gift was meant to directly reference the show’s theme, which is why a personalized metal keychain was chosen.

From the Initial Concept to the Final Design

The main characters of the series are twin brothers, both played by Michał Czernecki. The first idea considered was therefore a double-sided keychain featuring the faces of both characters.

An alternative concept was to include several elements characteristic of the series on the keychain: a key, a camper, a pot, and a semi-truck. After a joint analysis, however, we quickly concluded that the version featuring the characters’ images would be more striking, original, and better reflect the nature of the production.

Based on these decisions, we prepared a design for a double-sided keychain, which immediately received an enthusiastic response from the client.

From 60 to 250 units

Initially, the order was to include 60 keychains, privately funded by the producer. However, during the production process, the project was presented to CANAL+’s marketing department.

They liked the idea so much that the order was increased to 250 units, and CANAL+ took over as the ordering party and payer.

Express Production

The first batch of 60 keychains had to be ready by the time filming for the series wrapped up. Due to the double-sided enamel coating, this was a challenging deadline, but we managed to complete the entire production process within 10 business days.

We shipped the remainder of the order just one week later.

Custom Packaging

Each keychain was packaged in a clear cellophane bag. We also included a 55 × 85 mm card designed by us, featuring the CANAL+ logo and the slogan “The Team That Delivers.”

The client chose this solution after we presented the available packaging options. The simple, cohesive presentation highlighted the nature of the gift and ensured the keychains were immediately ready to be handed out to the crew.

Result

The finished keychains met the client’s expectations and became a unique memento from the set of the TV series “Ekspedycja XD.” After the project was completed, we received very positive feedback and a commitment to collaborate again on future projects.
